This engine (WD615.47) has been specially designed for high-altitude and complex environments. It adopts turbocharged and intercooled technology and wide-range adaptive tuning. In areas above 3000 meters, the power loss is only 5%-8%, which is much lower than the industry average (15%-20%). It can stably output 371HP power and 1460N・m torque. For mountainous steep slope scenarios, the engine's low-speed high-torque characteristics are prominent. Combined with the low-speed high-gear ratio design of the HW19710 ten-speed gearbox, the maximum climbing slope can reach 30%. Even on steep slopes in areas like the Amhara region (with slopes often exceeding 25%), such as when fully loaded, it can smoothly climb without frequent shifting or mid-journey stops, fully meeting the requirements for high-altitude heavy-load climbing.
