Positioned as the "new-generation full-size rugged luxury pickup truck", the Mars 9 is built on Foton's FIA Full-Size Intelligent Architecture platform, featuring a standard 48V diesel mild-hybrid system. The design embraces a bold, muscular aesthetic characterized by sharply angular lines dominating the front fascia. The aggressively raised hood evokes classic American brute-force styling, while the oversized black grille exudes intimidation. Complementing this ruggedness are precision-crafted LED headlights with L-shaped DRLs, adding refined sophistication to the assertive presence. Integrated within the front grille, both front fenders, and above the "T" emblem, cameras and millimeter-wave radar collectively form a 360° Surround View System.
Interior & Tech
Inside, the Mars 9 boasts a full-leather wraparound cabin spanning doors, dashboard, seats, and center console. The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster displays customizable data panels (left/center/right) including fuel economy, navigation, music, pitch/roll angles, tire pressure/temperature, 4WD status, and transmission temp. Above it sits a 14.6-inch HD touchscreen integrating Tencent TAI 4.0 OS with smart projection, scenario simulation, and AI voice interaction.
Off-Road Capability
Engineered for adventure, the chassis utilizes a front double-wishbone suspension (superior to MacPherson struts in handling/reliability) and a rear solid axle + multi-link setup for enhanced traction. The BorgWarner Intelligent AWD System offers multiple drive modes:
