Guinea is one of the world’s most mineral-rich countries. Its core mining industry mainly consists of bauxite, iron ore, gold, and diamonds, along with a variety of rare metals and non-metallic minerals. The Guinean government strongly supports the mining sector, positioning it as a pillar of the national economy and a core engine for industrialization, to promote the sustainable development of the local mining industry.The period from 2026 to 2028 will be a peak demand phase for mining equipment in Guinea. With the production ramp‑up at Simandou, the continuous expansion of bauxite mining, and the launch of new mines, demand for dump trucks, excavators, tractors, and semi-trailers will increase significantly.

 

 

 

 

 

A client from the Guinean government contacted us through web search, hoping to use tractor trucks for bauxite transportation. The Simandou Iron Ore Deposit is located in Kérouané Prefecture, Kankan Region, southeastern Guinea. The deposit stretches about 110 kilometers along the Simandou Mountains, with sharp ridges, deep valleys, and dense tributaries. Most areas feature steep bedrock slopes with local eluvium and colluvium, making it prone to landslides and mudslides.

 

 

We recommended the 430HP dump truck to cope with 24‑hour high-intensity operations. This 430HP model provides sufficient power, especially under heavy loads and when climbing slopes.

 

Given that the client needs frequent trips inside the mining area, and taking into account the remote location of mines in Guinea and limited fuel stations, we equipped the vehicles with a 400+400+600L fuel tank system to support the long-distance Simandou–Port route.
